Shri Jagdish Temple

One of the most popular temples in Udaipur, Shri Jagdish Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. This three-story temple was built in 1651 by Maharana Jagat Singh. Designed in Indo-Aryan architectural style, this temple has a pyramidal peak, pavilion, and veranda. The peak of this temple is about 79 feet tall and you can easily see it from a distance. The main temple has a four-armed idol of Lord Vishnu in black stone and four small temples are also present around it. Dream culture has played a very important role in the construction of this temple. That is why it is also called a temple made of dreams. This temple is built in the Panchayatan style.

Bohra Ganesh Temple
This temple is one of the most prominent temples of Udaipur which is more than 350 years old. It is located near Mohanlal Sukhadia University in Ganpati Nagar. Standing Ganesha is worshipped here. It is said that 80 years ago some people from the surrounding villages visited this temple and told their problems to Ganesha. After that, all their problems were solved. Since then this temple has a distinct identity in Udaipur.

Eklingji Temple
This temple is located in Kailashpuri. This temple was built by Bappa Rawal in the eighth century and the rampart of this temple was built by Rana Mokal. Eklingji is considered the family deity of the kings of Mewar and the Maharana of Mewar considers himself the Diwan of Eklingji. The present form of the temple was given by Maharana Raimal. It is called the temple of the family deity of the Udaipur kings. There is a huge wall around the temple. A huge fair is held here in Shivratri. This temple is the most prominent place of the Pashupat sect in the state.

Mahalakshmi Temple

Mahalakshmi Temple is dedicated to the goddess of wealth and prosperity. The goddess is considered the family deity of the Shrimali community, and the temple is managed by the Shrimali Jati Sampati Trust. Although many devotees visit the temple daily, this number increases manifold during the festival of Diwali. Long queues can also be seen on the eighth day of Shradh Paksha, the birthday of the goddess, because this festival is celebrated with great fervor.

Karni Mata Temple

Karni Mata Temple is a beautiful temple located on the Machla Magar hills near Doodh Talai Lake in Udaipur. You can reach here by climbing stairs or with the help of ropeway. Mahakaleshwar Temple

Mahakaleshwar Temple is one of the famous temples of Udaipur. It is located near Fateh Sagar Lake, in front of Panna Vilas with a spectacular background. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva (Mahakal) and is believed to be more than 900 years old. According to folklore, popular saint and Lord Shiva devotee Guru Gorakhnath worshiped at this religious place. The main shrine of this beautifully carved temple has a black stone Shivling. Aarti is performed daily in the temple, but Rudrabhishek Aarti is the main attraction, which attracts a large number of devotees. Ambamata Mandir
This is a famous temple of Mata Amba located on the banks of Fateh Sagar Lake in Udaipur. There is an interesting story behind it. It is said that in the 17th century, Maharaja Raj Singh had a terrible eye disease for which he was going to visit the famous Ambika Mata temple in Gujarat, but before that, Maa Amba came in his dream and told him about a place in Udaipur. The next day the king got the place excavated and a statue of Maa Amba was found. After that, the Maharaja built a huge temple of Amba Mata there and his eye problem was also completely cured.
