The temple of Maa Bamleshwari, situated at a height of 1600 feet on Dongargarh Mountain in Chhattisgarh, is considered a pilgrimage by all the communities here. To reach this temple situated on the hill, which is also popular among tourists, apart from climbing 1100 stairs, a ropeway facility is also available. The Mata Bamleshwari temple is called Badi Bamleshwari and the temple located half a kilometer below is called Choti Bamleshwari. The name of this place is formed by combining the words Dong and Gadh. Dong means mountain and Gadh means area. Apart from this, the Danteshwari temple of this state is also very popular.
