* Bhangarh Fort, Rajasthan: It is said that in ancient times a Tantrik had done black magic on this palace and since then Bhangarh Fort has become a haunted fort. Entry of people is prohibited in this fort after sunset. The houses built around this fort do not have roofs. If those roofs are made, they automatically crack and break.

* Brijraj Bhawan, Kota: There is such a haunted palace in Kota, Rajasthan, where even today the ghost of an English officer roams. Brij Raj Bhavan Hotel is 178 years old. Major Charles Burton of the 40th Bengal Native Infantry used to live here. He was murdered here by the Indian people during the 1857 freedom struggle. It was converted into a heritage site in 1980. The former Maharani of Kota had also told a journalist that she had seen Major's ghost many times here. It is said that Major was so fond of discipline that even today when his ghost sees the guard sleeping while on duty, this ghost slaps him and reminds him of his duty.

* Kuldhara Village, Jaisalmer: This village has been deserted for the last 170 years due to being haunted. The residents of this place had vacated this village to save their daughters from an Ayyas Diwan. While leaving, he cursed that no one would be able to settle here now.
