Tso Moriri Lake is the twin lake of Pangong Lake, located inside the Changtang Wildlife Sanctuary. Diskit Monastery
This is the main city of Nubra Valley. Scapegoat is organized here every year in February. Diskit Monastery is considered to be one of the largest and oldest monasteries of Nubra Valley. This monastery, also known as “Future Buddha”, is situated in the mountains above Diskit village in the Nubra Valley of Ladakh. This monastery is about 350 years old, in which a 106-foot-high statue of Maitreya Buddha is installed. This monastery is considered to be one of the oldest and largest monasteries of Nubra Valley.
