Kashmir

Shillong

But let us tell you, buying property in Shillong is a difficult task, getting permission for the same is also very difficult because the purpose of the government here is to protect the place and the local people here.

Nagaland
Under this provision of the constitution, only a citizen of Nagaland can buy land there. People from other states of the country do not have the right to buy land in Nagaland. It does not apply to any act of Parliament concerning the religious or social practices of the Nagas in the case of Nagaland, its traditional law and procedure, the administration of civil and criminal justice involving decisions by Naga customary law, and the ownership and transfer of land and resources.

Sikkim
Snow-capped mountains, monasteries, and beautiful evenings compel one to stay in the cities. But, here you can stay only for a certain period and enjoy the local life. Only residents of Sikkim are allowed to buy land in Sikkim. Article 371F of the Constitution of India, which provides special provisions to Sikkim, prohibits the sale and purchase of incorporated land or property to outsiders. Additionally, only tribals can buy land and property in the tribal areas of the state.

Himachal Pradesh
Whether it is summer or winter, people start roaming in many hill stations of Himachal. Who would not want to buy a house or property in such a beautiful place? Mizoram
Under this article, the ownership of land in Mizoram is only for the tribals living there. However, the state government can acquire land under the Mizoram (Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation, and Resettlement) Act 2016 to open private sector industries here.

Arunachal Pradesh
Himachal Pradesh is a state adjacent to Jammu and Kashmir. You will like the traditions, culture, and excreta behavior of the people here. Here also outsiders cannot buy land. Even non-agriculturist Himachalis cannot buy agricultural land here, even if they have a Himachal ration card. Unless you come among the local people, you cannot buy property here.

Manipur
It is similar to Article 371B applicable in Assam. In Manipur, if the President wishes, he can form a committee of elected representatives by giving special responsibility to the Governor of the state. This committee will monitor the development work of the state. The Governor will have to submit a report to the President every year.
