The main attraction of the village is the tall and dense deodar trees. After reaching here, some beautiful views are seen on Bandarpoonch Peak. The primary occupation in the village is agriculture. Apart from this, community tourism also takes place here. An NGO of the same name helps the local community in Kalap in the tourism business, which includes homestays, treks, and other activities. The food here ranges from lingua to leap paper, scorpion grass, and wild mushrooms. At the same time, a special dish is also made with poppy seeds, jaggery, and wheat flour. The snowfall in Kalap village is a sight to behold during winter. Snowfall works to add beauty to the beauty of this place.
