Tourists from Switzerland and Germany reached Buxar on Saturday morning, during which they visited the local market as well as the Sitaram Upadhyay Museum. After this, all of them were sent to Varanasi via Ghazipur.

The hope of the development of tourism activities in Buxar through Ganga has once again arisen. When around 32 tourists from Switzerland and Germany arrived in Buxar on Saturday morning aboard the country-made luxurious and big river cruise MV Ganga Vilas, their response was encouraging. These tourists spent about two hours in Buxar.

Visit the historical war memorial built in Katkauli village which witnessed the war between the East India Company and the combined forces of the three Indian rulers. These tourists also visited Sitaram Upadhyay Museum. After this left for Varanasi via Ghazipur. Ganga Vilas is set to embark on the world's biggest river cruise from Varanasi next week, then this cruise will reach Buxar with more tourists.

The convoy of foreign tourists reached Buxar at around eight in the morning. These tourists also visited the local market. Some tourists bought cold clothes from local shops.

Ganga Vilas reached two days late

Ganga Vilas Cruise was to reach Buxar on Thursday itself. This ship will go from Varanasi via Buxar, Patna, and Kolkata via Bangladesh to Dibrugarh in Assam, re-entering India. The Yatra will be formally inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This cruise is currently going from Kolkata to Varanasi to start the journey. According to the prior information, the cruise was to go on this route without passengers from one side. However, the schedule was changed after the cruise found tourists to travel to Varanasi.
