There has been development in Jammu and Kashmir after the abrogation of Article 370. In a report, it has been claimed that three years after the removal of Article 370, the economic condition of the people of the valley has improved. New dimensions of development are being written due to the policies of the government.
A report in an Asian daily (Asian Light) published in the United Kingdom has claimed that the Indian government has been successful in changing the general perception of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir since the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019. Along with this, after the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019, the government has also managed to improve the economic condition of the people there.
According to the report, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha had recently claimed that the administration has formulated people-friendly policies. Along with this, it has also been ensured that the implementation of these policies is also done in a good manner. Simultaneously, the government has removed all barriers to the establishment of new businesses and industries in the region.
As per reports, LG Manoj Sinha said that the steps taken by his administration have found support from the local people.
New dimensions of development
The development in Jammu and Kashmir since the abrogation of Article 370 has also been written in this report. Quoting LG in the report, several touches of sarcasm have been made regarding Article 370. The LG said that "Article 370 was the root cause of separatism, terrorism, nepotism, discrimination, and corruption and kept Jammu and Kashmir underdeveloped. Now after the abrogation of Article 370, Jammu and Kashmir are moving forward on a new development journey. "
Citing a local media report by Kashmir Observer, Asian Light quoted the LG as saying, "We have removed the difficulties that had arisen in implementing pro-people governance. New businesses and industries have been set up in the valley." So that everyone can have equal development. It is our responsibility to provide equal opportunities to all.
Quoting the LG in the report, it was written "Article 370 was the root cause of separatism, terrorism, nepotism, discrimination, and corruption and it kept Jammu and Kashmir underdeveloped. Due to this article development could not take place in Jammu and Kashmir but in the past Three years after breaking away, it is embarking on a new growth journey."

The report has also commented on the issue of youth in Jammu and Kashmir, citing the words of the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha. He also mentioned that "the policies of the administration are designed to empower the youth and every section of the society by providing equal opportunities."
The report quoted the L-G as saying, "Fast pace of development, improved socio-economic parameters, unprecedented progress in all priority sectors, large-scale tourist inflow and industrial investment testify to a peaceful and prosperous Jammu and Kashmir." All these parameters show that J&K has been making steady progress since the abrogation of Article 370."
Promotion of the poultry industry
Further, according to reports, to bring the poultry sector on the path of sustainability and self-sufficiency, the Agriculture Production Department of Jammu and Kashmir created a new mission. A 'Roadmap for Poultry Development in Jammu and Kashmir' was approved under the mission for the overall development of agriculture and allied sectors in the valley.
The report quoted Atal Dulloo, Additional Chief Secretary, of the Agriculture Production and Farmers Welfare Department (APD), as saying that "Every year, the Union Territory is getting stronger economically due to poultry imports in the state. The total amount per year is 1273 crores." Rupees come from the poultry industry. Of this, eggs earn Rs 473 crore, day-old chicks Rs 110 crore, poultry feed Rs 300 crore, and broiler birds Rs 390 crore.
According to the report, Atal Dulloo said that "a total of 420 enterprises and 4,250 direct jobs will be created in the next five years under the roadmap for poultry development." The 'Roadmap for Poultry Development in Jammu and Kashmir' is one of the 29 projects approved by the administration.
