Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum, Bangalore
Established on 14 July 1962, it is the oldest science museum in India. It was established to pay tribute to Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya. The museum has seven exhibition halls and two special exhibits. The main attraction here is the full-scale replica of Kitty Hawk built by the Wright Brothers. Whereas, 3D movies are shown in the Fun Science Gallery. Along with this, the Science on a Sphere and Electrotechnic Gallery are also great fun.
Kerala Science and Technology Museum, Thiruvananthapuram
The Kerala Science and Technology Museum was established by the Government of Kerala in 1984 as a centre to popularize science and scientific temper among the general public. This institution is located in the heart of Thiruvananthapuram city of Kerala, which is functioning since the year 1994. There are more than 300 exhibitions here. These include galleries dedicated to science, mathematics, automobiles, bio-medical engineering, computers and solar energy. The museum also has a planetarium, a science park and a kid's park.
