Brahadambal Temple
Brahmadambal Temple is a wonderful place present in Pudukkottai. People often visit this temple due to the mixture of Dravidian and Jain architectural styles. The deities present in the temple are Lord Gokarneshwar and his consort Brahmadambal. It is believed that it was built by King Mahendravarma I of the Pallava dynasty. The building was rebuilt by dynasties like Pandya, Chola, Thondaman and Nyakkar kings. This temple is also known by different names like Thirugokarnam, Kokarneshwar and Gokarneshwar Temple.
Thirumayam Fort is one of the best places to visit in Pudukkottai. This fort is located a little away from the city centre. The most sought-after peacock in the sanctuary is the Tundikan or Palawan Peacock Pheasant. The best time to visit here is considered to be from October to April. Avur Church
