Brahadambal Temple

Brahmadambal Temple is a wonderful place present in Pudukkottai. People often visit this temple due to the mixture of Dravidian and Jain architectural styles. The deities present in the temple are Lord Gokarneshwar and his consort Brahmadambal. It is believed that it was built by King Mahendravarma I of the Pallava dynasty. The building was rebuilt by dynasties like Pandya, Chola, Thondaman and Nyakkar kings. This temple is also known by different names like Thirugokarnam, Kokarneshwar and Gokarneshwar Temple.
