Pahalgam Terror Attack: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Vizhinjam International Port in Kerala on Friday. During this, he took a dig at the opposition and said that today's event will give sleepless nights to many people. Along with PM Modi, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan also attended this program. PM Modi also mentioned Gautam Adani during his speech.

 

Prime Minister Modi said, "CM Vijayan is also sitting here, he is a strong pillar of the India Alliance. Shashi Tharoor is sitting here. Today's event will give sleepless nights to many people. The message has been sent where it was supposed to go." He said, "Today is the birth anniversary of Lord Adi Shankaracharya. Three years ago in September, I had the privilege of visiting his birthplace. Adi Shankaracharya awakened the consciousness of the nation by setting up monasteries in different corners of the country after leaving Kerala. I salute him."

PM Modi also mentioned Gautam Adani 

Prime Minister Modi also took a dig at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi without naming him. Referring to Gautam Adani, he said, "Gautam Adani was also present here. Adani has built a better port here than he did in Gujarat." 

Vizhinjam Port is built at a cost of 8800 crores 

Vizhinjam Port has been built at a cost of about Rs 8800 crore. Its transshipment hub capacity will be tripled in the coming time. It has been built keeping in mind large cargo ships. PM Modi said, "Till now 75% of India's transshipment activities used to take place at foreign ports, resulting in huge revenue loss to the country. However, now this situation is going to change. The money that was earlier spent abroad will now be invested in domestic development, which will create new economic opportunities for the people of Vizhinjam and Kerala.
