WhatsApp for iPhone: If you have an iPhone 7 or older, you need to update it immediately. Failing to do so will prevent you from using WhatsApp after November.

WhatsApp For iPhone: If you have an older iPhone , this news is very useful. Now, using WhatsApp can no longer delay software updates on your iPhone. Meta has confirmed that after November 30th, a new iOS version will be required to use WhatsApp on iPhones, and older iOS versions will no longer work. Fortunately, WhatsApp support for any iPhone isn't ending, and users using older versions will still have the option to update.
Which iPhone models will be affected?
WhatsApp currently supports iOS 15.1 and later on iPhones. Support for iOS 15.1 will end on November 30th, and accessing WhatsApp will require at least iOS 15.5. This change will affect users of the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE (1st Gen), iPhone 7, and iPhone 7 Plus. Users using older iOS versions will need to update to iOS 15.8.8. This will prevent any problems with WhatsApp.
How to update iPhone?
Like other smartphones, updating your iPhone is incredibly easy. When an update is available, your iPhone automatically sends a notification to let you know. If you want to update your iPhone manually, go to Settings and open the General section. Selecting the Software Update option will reveal available updates. Install them. Experts recommend keeping your phone's software and apps up-to-date to take advantage of the latest features and protect yourself from cybercrime.
WhatsApp support is not ending for any iPhone.
WhatsApp periodically discontinues support for older operating systems to introduce new features and protect against cyber threats. This isn't happening with iPhones this time. Devices currently running iOS 15.1 can be updated to iOS 15.5. This means older iPhone users won't need to replace their iPhones to continue using WhatsApp.
