The market will be shaken! OpenAI will launch its first device this year, and three products are in the works.

OpenAI may launch its first hardware device this year. It is believed to be a wearable device with ChatGPT integrated into it. Sales could begin next year.

OpenAI, the maker of the AI chatbot ChatGPT, is poised to disrupt the market. The company, which launched the generative AI chatbot race in 2022 with the launch of ChatGPT, is now planning to launch its first hardware device, and the wait may soon be over. According to recent reports, OpenAI's first device could be launched this year. It is currently working on three devices. It is not yet known which device will be launched first.

When can the device be launched?

Speculation is rife that the company may launch its product in the second half of this year. Chris Lahane, the company's Chief Global Officer, has confirmed this. He says the company is on track to release its first product by the end of this year. It's believed this could be an audio device, details of which surfaced a few days ago. Even if the product launches this year, sales will begin next year.

Will Sweetpea be launched?

Last week, it was reported that OpenAI is working on a new specialized audio device, a mini-computer in the shape of an earphone. It will have no screen and will operate with voice commands using ChatGPT. The company has codenamed this device Sweetpea. While it will be shaped like an earphone, it will use smartphone components, which could lead to a higher price.

Work is also going on on these products.

OpenAI is reportedly working with former Apple designer Jony Ive on three different AI hardware projects. One of these is an AI wearable device, while another could be a tabletop AI product that runs entirely on voice commands. The third device could be an AI pen. However, the company has not yet officially announced these products.
