The doctor used to kill people and feed the dead bodies to crocodiles, the serial killer was involved in more than 100 murders; his crime history is terrifying

Delhi Crime Branch arrested serial killer Dr Devendra Sharma, who was involved in more than 100 murders. Known by the name of Doctor Death, he was absconding from parole and was living as a Baba in Rajasthan. He committed murders between 1995 and 2004 and threw the bodies in the canal. In 2004, a kidney racket was also exposed in which he was involved.

The Crime Branch team has arrested a parole jumper and notorious serial killer doctor who was involved in more than a hundred murder cases. The accused has been identified as Dr. Devendra Kumar Sharma, resident of Thana Chhabra, Village Puraini Aligarh, who was also known as Doctor Death. The accused along with his gang had committed more than a hundred murders between 1995 and 2004.

 

To escape from the police, he used to throw the bodies in Hazara canal of Kasganj, which were eaten by crocodiles in the canal. Between 1998 and 2004, he, along with Dr. Amit, had also done kidney transplant of 125 people illegally. After his arrest in 2004, the serial killing and kidney transplant racket was exposed.

 

In one case, the death sentence has been awarded

Charge sheets have been filed against Devendra in 21 murder cases. He has been sentenced to life imprisonment in seven cases in Delhi and death penalty in one case in Gurugram. He came out on parole for two months on June 9, 2023. After this, he did not surrender.

 

 

 

 

Later, he was living as a Baba in an ashram in Dausa, Rajasthan. There he was treating people in the ashram by giving them medicines. The Crime Branch team has arrested him from Dausa. Dr. Devendra is a BAMS doctor. He also ran his own hospital in Rajasthan for about a decade.

 

The beast was living in the ashram as a baba

According to Crime Branch Deputy Commissioner Aditya Gautam, his team is engaged in searching for parole jumper criminals. In this connection, he got information about the disappearance of Dr. Devendra. A team of Inspector Rakesh Kumar, Anuj Kumar and others was formed to gather information about him. The accused got parole on June 9, 2023. He had to surrender on August 3, 2023.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For about six months, teams were looking for him in Jaipur, Delhi, Aligarh, Agra and Prayagraj. Meanwhile, his location was found in Dausa, Rajasthan. A team was immediately sent to Dausa. The accused was living there in an ashram as a baba, from where he was arrested. During interrogation, he told that in the year 2020 also he had disappeared after taking parole.

 

At that time, after six months, the police arrested him and handed him back to the jail authorities. He told that after 50 murders, he does not even remember the count. He did BAMS from Bihar. His father was posted in a pharma company in Siwan. After completing his studies in 1984, he came to Dausa in Rajasthan. Here he started his own hospital named Janata Clinic.

 

After working as a doctor for 11 years, he was duped of Rs 11 lakh in the name of installing a tower. After this, he entered the world of crime. Initially, he used to dupe people in the name of a fake gas agency. Later, he formed his own gang. He used to book taxis and trucks. After killing the drivers, he used to dispose of their bodies.

 

He used to sell his taxi and truck in the grey market at good prices. According to the accused, he remembers up to 50 murders, after that he does not even remember the number of people his gang killed.

 

After killing them, they used to throw their bodies in Hazar canal

During police interrogation, the accused told that after killing the taxi and truck drivers, their bodies were thrown in Hazara canal of Kasganj. There were a large number of crocodiles in this canal. This was done only to escape from the police. Crocodiles used to swallow the bodies. After the first arrest of the accused in 2004, the police team did not find anything from there. The accused have said that they killed more than 100 people and dumped their bodies here.

 

Kidneys were sold for five to seven lakh rupees

During police interrogation, the accused told that he met Dr. Amit in the year 1998. Dr. Amit had set up a base for illegal kidney transplant in Delhi, Gurugram and many other cities. Amit asked him to bring a kidney donor. When they agreed to pay 5 to 7 lakh rupees for a donor, Devendra agreed to it.

 

He used to lure poor people from Bihar, Bengal and Nepal and bring them to Dr. Amit. These people did more than 125 kidney transplants between 1998 and 2004. In 2004, Devendra and Amit were arrested in the kidney racket case in Gurugram.
