The Bengal Files Trailer Out: The trailer of Vivek Agnihotri's film 'The Bengal Files' has been released. Anupam Kher will be seen in the role of Mahatma Gandhi in the film, a glimpse of which has been revealed.

The trailer of famous filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri's upcoming film 'The Bengal Files' was released on Saturday. In this film, history and present are seen going hand in hand. This film is going to show the cruelty of 16 August 1946 Direct Action Day, a glimpse of which has been seen in the trailer.

In the trailer of 'The Bengal Files', an attempt has been made to uncover the violent political past of West Bengal. According to the makers, the film is based on true events. It begins with asking the name of a child sitting at the dining table. Gradually as the trailer progresses, the dilemma of West Bengal of 1946 and present times is shown. 

 

 

How is the trailer of the film?

In the trailer of 'The Bengal Files', blood-soaked streets, fanatics, and people challenging each other with the intention of killing each other are seen scene after scene. There is also an excerpt from the conversation between Jinnah and Mahatma Gandhi, from the infiltrators. It is written in the trailer - 'If Kashmir Files hurt you, then Bengal will scare you.'

 

'We will not let Bengal become another Kashmir'

Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri said at the trailer launch event in Kolkata- 'The Bengal Files is a warning, a roar that we will not let Bengal become another Kashmir. We decided to launch the trailer in Kolkata to give authenticity to the untold story of Hindu genocide, and you will see a glimpse of it in the trailer. The country should be prepared because if Kashmir hurts you, Bengal will trouble you.'

What did Mithun say about the film?

'The Bengal Files' actor Mithun Chakraborty said- 'The Bengal Files has everything that the audience never expected. For me, this is the purpose of cinema: to bring change and show what people need to see. Let me tell you, I am leading all of you. This character has always brought me closer to you, and it will do the same for you.'

Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri's 'The Bengal Files' is one of the most talked-about films of this year. This is the third part of the filmmaker's truth-revealing files trilogy; before this 'The Kashmir Files' and 'The Tashkent Files' have been released. It stars Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi, Anupam Kher and Darshan Kumar. Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri has written and directed 'The Bengal Files'. It has been produced by Abhishek Agarwal and Pallavi Joshi. The film will be released in theaters on 5 September 2025.
