Tension Grows for Chennai Super Kings as MS Dhoni Seen Limping After Match Victory

The 2025 IPL season has been a challenging one for Chennai Super Kings (CSK), with the team managing to win only 2 out of their first 7 matches. To make matters worse, their captain Rituraj Gaikwad is out for the season due to an injury, leaving the iconic MS Dhoni to step in as the stand-in leader. While Dhoni's leadership has seen some victories, a recent video has sparked concern among CSK fans about his own health.

In a dramatic IPL match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), CSK was able to chase down a target of 167 runs, thanks in large part to Dhoni's match-winning performance. Despite the odds, CSK was at 111 for 5 when Dhoni came in and smashed an unbeaten 26 runs off 11 balls, including 4 fours and 1 six, to guide his team to a thrilling 5-wicket victory.

However, following this triumph, a video surfaced of Dhoni limping as he walked through the team hotel, which quickly went viral on social media. This has caused a wave of worry among fans, as Dhoni has struggled with physical issues in recent years, including a muscle strain during the 2024 IPL and a knee surgery in June 2023.

The concern is that if Dhoni's injury turns out to be serious, it could be a massive blow for CSK, already facing challenges with the absence of their regular captain. His leadership and ability to turn matches around are key to the team's hopes this season, so the potential for an injury to sideline him raises serious doubts about CSK's chances in the ongoing IPL.
