The basic salary of GS 12 grade astronauts is around $66,167 (about Rs 55 lakh per annum). Experienced astronauts come in GS 13 or GS 14. Whose salary can be around $90,000 to $140,000 (about Rs 75 lakh to Rs 1.1 crore per annum).
