India is to host the ODI World Cup this October-November. Before that, many prominent players of the Indian cricket team are battling with injuries. Apart from fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, wicket-keeper batsman KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant, middle-order batsman Shreyas Iyer is also included in this list. The team is hopeful of the recovery of these players before the World Cup. He also has to play in the Asia Cup before this big tournament. The good news for the Indian team is that Bumrah and Rahul are going to make a comeback soon.

Rohit Sharma's team is not getting the services of Bumrah from September 2022. He is out due to injury. However, now it looks like he will be back on the field soon. Not just Bumrah, but veteran batsman KL Rahul is also set to make a comeback. According to media reports, both will be fully fit before the Asia Cup. If both regain fitness then their selection in Team India is almost certain.

All eyes are on Shreyas Iyer's recovery
According to reports, Bumrah and Rahul will be available for selection for the Asia Cup to be played in September if the recovery goes as per the plan. Shreyas Iyer has not recovered yet. He is recovering from his lower back injury. The selectors are looking at Sanju Samson and Suryakumar Yadav as his replacements.

Bumrah is throwing seven overs on the nets
Bumrah's fitness is being worked on fast at the National Cricket Academy (NCA). Bumrah is bowling seven overs a day in the nets at NCA. Seeing this, it is believed that he will be fully fit before the Asia Cup. Bumrah underwent surgery in New Zealand in March after recurring back problems. Since then he is going through the process of rehabilitation. Bumrah last played for India in September 2022. Then he landed in the domestic T20 match against Australia.
