Indian captain Rohit Sharma has completed 16 years in international cricket, on Friday he shared the story on Instagram. Rohit made his international debut in 2007 on June 23, it was an ODI match.

Rohit played that one-day match against Ireland in the Civil Service Cricket Club, although Rohit did not get the opportunity to bat in that match. Since then, Rohit has played 50 Tests, 243 ODIs, and 148 T20s, holding many world records.

Rohit is the only player to score three double centuries in ODIs, he has 3437 runs in Tests, 9825 runs in ODIs, and 3853 runs in T20s. Known as Hitman, Rohit has scored nine centuries in Tests, 30 centuries in ODIs, and four centuries in T20s. Rohit will be seen captaining Team India in the ODI World Cup to be held in India this year.
