Ahead of tomorrow's big match between India and Pakistan, former Indian bowler Irfan Pathan has shared his views on the comparison between fast bowlers, Jasprit Bumrah and Shaheen Afridi.
Irfan feels that there is no competition as Bumrah is way ahead of Afridi. However, he still believes that Afridi has the ability to do wonders with the new ball.
The former Indian bowler said “Jasprit Bumrah is far ahead of Shaheen Afridi and there is no competition between them. Afridi can do wonders with the new ball, but Bumrah is a master in any phase of the game."
Bumrah and Afridi are the most valuable players for their respective teams at the moment. Bumrah has played 80 matches in his ODI career and has taken 135 wickets at an economy of 4.64. Afridi, a six feet six inches bowler, has played 46 ODI matches and taken 88 wickets at an economy of 5.49.
The India vs Pakistan match is considered to be one of the biggest clashes, especially in the ODI World Cup. The stadium is always heavily attended whenever the two teams compete.
Now fans are eagerly waiting for the clash between the two teams tomorrow (October 14) at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
