England: The England cricket team is recently playing a Test series against New Zealand. In the Test series against New Zealand, the England team has won the first two matches. After playing the Test series against New Zealand, England has to play a series of 5 T20 and 3 ODI matches with the Indian team in the month of January.
For which the England Cricket Board (ECB) can soon select a 15-member team squad. Reports are that the selection committee can give the responsibility of captaincy to Jos Buttler and vice-captaincy of the team to Phil Salt.
T20 series to start from 22 January 2025
A series of 5 T20 matches will start between Team India and England (IND VS ENG) in the beginning of the year 2025. The T20 series is going to start from 22 January at the Eden Gardens ground in Kolkata. The other 4 matches of the T20 series will be played at the grounds of Chennai, Rajkot, Pune and Mumbai. The last match of the T20 series will be played on 2 February at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
