Parenting Tips For Screen Use: Nowadays, we parents have an option that if the child is crying, then give him a smartphone to calm him down. Let us tell you what CM Yogi said.

Why does a child cry if he doesn't get his mobile?
Why Kids Cry Without Smartphones: Smartphones are common among children these days, but have you noticed that a child starts crying or becomes irritable as soon as the phone is taken away? This may not just be stubbornness, but also a sign of increasing screen dependency. Experts believe that excessive screen time at a young age can affect children's behavior, sleep, and mental development. Let us tell you what Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said about this
What did CM Yogi say about this?
CM Yogi said that efforts should be made to prevent young children from getting smartphones. He said, "I would like to urge mothers and sisters not to give them smartphones at all. If a child is crying, let them cry. If they are upset, they will be fine after a while." He added that a child who spends most of the day looking at a smartphone can have an impact on their eyesight.

He said that if he spends as much time on books, yoga, exercise, and workouts as he does on his phone, his life will be beautiful, organized, and he will progress. The smartphone is wasting his time, his hard work, and harming his eyes. It is also hampering his ability to think and understand. People are falling prey to depression because of it. It is associated with many games that are taking him towards negativity. In such a situation, efforts should be made to stop the smartphone. He advised the youth to use it only as much as necessary. Don't keep it in your ears all day, or stare at it all day.
What do the experts say?
Psychiatrist Ankit Daral explained in a video on social media that nowadays, mobile phones are acting as a nanny, a babysitter, or a childcare provider in every home. As soon as a child cries a little, parents hand them the mobile phone to calm them down.

He further explains that when a child cries, it's because they need their parents most, not their mobile phone. Giving them a phone makes them crave dopamine, and they want to check it again and again. Without it, their brains go into a chemical crash, making them irritable, nervous, and prone to anger.
