📢 Students Have High Expectations from Government Budget 2025

While the announcement of school holidays has brought joy among students and teachers, they also have high hopes from the upcoming budget for the education sector. Many students and parents expect that the government will focus on improving educational facilities, increasing teaching staff, and providing better infrastructure in schools.

A large number of students have also demanded that the government should ensure better transportation facilities, especially for girl students in rural and urban areas. Many girls travel long distances daily for their education and face difficulties due to lack of public transport facilities.

🚍 Separate Transport for Girl Students – A Major Demand

Sneha, a resident of Dhora village, mentioned that there should be special buses allocated for girl students to commute safely to schools and colleges. She stated that thousands of girl students from rural areas travel to Yamunanagar daily for education but have to face difficulties due to overcrowded buses and lack of transport facilities.

Similarly, Chailsi, a Mass Communication student, expressed her concern regarding affordable higher education. She highlighted that the high fees in private colleges force many students to discontinue their education. She urged the government to establish more government colleges in urban areas so that every student gets equal educational opportunities without financial constraints.

💬 Government’s Focus on 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao' Scheme

Several parents have also requested the government to emphasize the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme in the upcoming budget. They believe that providing free or subsidized education, more teachers, and better school infrastructure will encourage more girls to pursue education without financial burdens.

Moreover, they suggested that increasing the budget for school infrastructure, building new classrooms, and upgrading school facilities will significantly enhance the quality of education in government schools.

The declaration of four days of school holidays in Haryana has brought happiness among students and teachers. With the state government focusing on improving the education sector, it is expected that the upcoming budget will bring several positive changes for students, teachers, and educational institutions across Haryana.

The official circular for holidays has already been forwarded to all educational institutions, and students can now enjoy official holidays on major occasions without any academic pressure. However, students and parents are eagerly waiting for the government to announce further plans for better education facilities and infrastructure.
