The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced that today, 19 May 2025, is the final day to apply for the 9,970 vacancies of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP). Interested candidates who haven’t applied yet must visit the official website and submit their applications before midnight today.

Eligibility Criteria for RRB ALP 2025
- Educational Qualification:
- 10th pass with ITI certificate or
- 3-year engineering diploma in relevant trade
- OR engineering degree in relevant branch
- Age Limit: 18 to 30 years (age relaxation for OBC, SC, ST candidates as per rules)

Selection Process for Assistant Loco Pilot
- Stage 1: CBT 1 (Computer Based Test 1)
- Stage 2: CBT 2 (Computer Based Test 2) — only for candidates who qualify CBT 1
- Stage 3: Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT)
- Final Stages: Document Verification and Medical Examination
