Rahul Dravid made a prediction regarding the ICC T20 World Cup 2026: Head coach Rahul Dravid, who led Team India to win the T20 World Cup 2024, has made a big prediction regarding the ICC T20 World Cup 2026. He believes that it would be good if Zimbabwe reaches the final of the tournament along with India. He said that Team India should stick to its game plan, no matter what. The Indian team, led by Suryakumar Yadav, will start its Super-8 campaign against South Africa in Ahmedabad on Sunday, i.e., 22 February.

Rahul Dravid said in an interview.

Speaking to NDTV, Rahul Dravid said, "I think India's biggest advantage is that we're not dependent on just one or two players. We have depth in the team. So you can expect that depth to come to the fore. T20 cricket is unpredictable and is the most volatile format of the game, and any day, as I've learned as a coach, you can lose. Stick to the process, do what you can, and hope for the best."

Dravid added, "I'll take India versus any team. India versus Zimbabwe? It would be a great moment for Zimbabwean cricket. If Zimbabwe reaches the final, it would be amazing. I'd also like a smaller team to reach the final along with India. That would be great."

What did Rahul Dravid say about associate teams?

Rahul Dravid said, "For me, the most special thing about this T20 World Cup, which is being widely discussed, is that many associate teams have played excellent cricket. It's good to see the talent available in associate nations. All the teams have performed well. Many of them may not have qualified for the Super 8s, which is always a challenge in this format, but despite this, they have played brilliantly and shown that they have good young talent."
