The terrorists came out from behind the nearby shops and asked people to recite Kalma and then shot four people. After this, two other terrorists started firing from near the zipline, which led to more bloodshed. During the attack, the terrorists also snatched the mobile phones of a tourist and a local person.

Tragic death of a naval officer who came on honeymoon

Among those killed in this attack was 26 year old Lieutenant Vinay Narwal, who was from Karnal in Haryana and was an officer in the Navy. Vinay had come to visit Pahalgam with his wife just four days after his marriage. His wife said, "We were eating Bhelpuri when a gunman shot my husband. He said that my husband is not a Muslim and then opened fire." Vinay's neighbor Naresh Bansal said, "He had come to visit happily after getting married just four days ago, but the terrorists took his life."

The video will become an important evidence in the NIA investigation.

On the orders of the Home Ministry, the NIA has started investigating this case. Since April 23, senior NIA officers have been collecting evidence at the scene.
