The girl's father had given a car and cash in the marriage, but the young man and his family were unhappy with this dowry. They wanted a big car Scorpio and Rs 25 lakh, not a small car. The girl's in-laws were harassing her repeatedly for dowry. Once, when the demand was not met, they even threw the girl out of the house.
They were beating her for dowry
After a few days, a decision was taken between the two parties in the community panchayat in the village and the girl was sent back to her in-laws' house. However, the woman was again harassed for dowry and was also beaten up. The family alleges that her husband and other in-laws continued to harass her. Also, she was given some medicines and injections due to which her health deteriorated. The family alleges that the woman was also given an injection containing HIV infection by her husband.
