The launch date of the next generation Oben EZ electric motorcycle has been revealed. The range of Oben Rorr EZ electric will be 175 KM. Let's know the details related to its battery, speed, features and price.
Oben Electric is going to launch its next generation high-performance bike Rorr EZ on 5 August 2025. This is the same bike which was first introduced in November 2024, but now it will come to the market as an updated version, which will include better battery technology and advanced smart features than before. The company has informed that the booking of the bike will start from the same day and its delivery will start from August 15, 2025.
Battery Technology and Performance
- Oben says that their new model is specially designed for those who ride a bike daily and need good performance and new technology. In this bike, the company has used its own developed LFP battery technology, which is not only 50% more heat resistant than before but its battery life is also said to be doubled.
This bike will be available in two battery variants
- The Rorr EZ will be available in two battery variants. The first is a 3.4 kWh version, priced at Rs 1,19,999 and the second is a 4.4 kWh version, priced at Rs 1,29,999. This electric motorcycle offers an IDC-certified range of 175 km and has a top speed of 95 kmph. This bike can accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in just 3.3 seconds and generates a torque of 52Nm, making the riding experience powerful and smooth.
The new technology is based on the O100 platform
- This new motorcycle has been built on the company's recently launched O100 platform, which Oben has developed in-house at its Bangalore-based R&D center. This platform is completely modular and has the ability to support multiple battery configurations. The company says that this platform has been designed keeping in mind future needs and is also fully compatible with new technology and charging infrastructure.
How are the features?
- Oben Rorr EZ not only offers performance but also has plenty of smart features. It includes advanced technical features like geo-fencing, anti-theft protection, unified brake assist (UBA) and drive assist system (DAS). In terms of design, Oben has retained the design language of the old model and has further improved the bike with new elements. Apart from this, this motorcycle will be available in four new attractive colors, which include - Electro Amber, Surge Cyan, Lumina Green and Photon White.
