The National Medical Commission (NMC) has taken an important decision, under which now patients will be able to complain about the negligence or misconduct of doctors. If the patient is not satisfied with the decision of the State Medical Councils (SMC), then he can also file an appeal in the Ethics and Medical Registration Board (EMRB) of NMC.

Earlier, patients could complain only to the State Medical Councils (SMC), but now if patients are dissatisfied with the decision of the State Medical Councils, they can also appeal to the National Medical Commission.
