Not a human, but a machine created history! For the first time in the world a child was born with the help of AI

Now the time has come when the imaginations of science are turning into reality. The work which was till now done only by experienced doctors and expert hands, can now be done by machines as well. Recently, one such historic feat has happened, where for the first time in the world a child has been born with the help of a fully automated IVF system and Artificial Intelligence (AI). This unique experiment has not only raised new hopes in medical science, but has also given a new direction to IVF technology.

This miraculous incident happened in Guadalajara, Mexico, where a 40-year-old woman gave birth to a healthy baby through AI-assisted IVF process. The special thing is that in this process, instead of human hands, machines carried out the entire process of ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection).

How did this miracle happen?

In ICSI technique, experts usually inject each sperm into the egg, but there is a possibility of fatigue and human error. Now a team has developed a fully automated system with the help of scientists from New York and Mexico, which operates all 23 steps of this process with AI and digital control. This system not only selected the sperm, but also inactivated it with a laser and injected it into the egg. It took about 9 minutes and 56 seconds per egg to complete this process.

What are its benefits?

Dr. Jacques Cohen, the leading embryologist behind this technique, says that this system can revolutionize the world of IVF. This will increase consistency, reduce human errors and the quality of the egg will remain better. In this process, four out of five eggs were successfully fertilized and after a healthy embryo was formed, it was frozen and transferred, resulting in the birth of a child.

A glimpse of the future

Doctors believe that in the coming times this technique will be made faster and more effective. This can reduce the cost of IVF, increase the success rate and give new hope of having a child to millions of childless couples across the world.
