Health Minister Veena George has said that so far more than 425 people have been kept under surveillance. Most of these are from Malappuram (228), Palakkad (110) and Kozhikode (87). However, the patients have been kept in isolation and samples of all are being taken and tested . The state government has declared high alert and medical teams have been deployed in sensitive areas.
