Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hand over appointment letters to 71 thousand youth today under the employment fair. PM Modi will also address these youths from 45 places through video conferencing. Give information that the youth will be appointed on posts like Gramin Dak Sevak, Postal Inspector, Commercial and Ticket Clerk, Assistant Enforcement Officer, Inspector, Nursing Officer, Assistant Security Officer, Fire Officer, Headmaster, Train Graduate Teacher. According to the information, this program will be organized at 45 centers in 22 states. According to the information received from the officials, all the ministries and departments are working towards filling the existing vacant posts in mission mode. He said that the filling up of vacant posts in each and every ministry is being monitored by the Union Ministers.
Large number of vacancies in CAPF
According to the officials, a large number of posts are being recruited by the Ministry of Home Affairs in various Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). This recruitment is being done through recruitment agencies like UPSC, SSC and Railway Recruitment Board. The selection process has been simplified for quick recruitment. Officials further informed that the government which came to power in the year 2019 is in the last year of its tenure, thus the process of recruitment is expected to speed up in the coming days.

The scheme started last year
Please inform that the PM had started the Rojgar Mela scheme in October last year. The first job fair was held on October 22, 2022 and appointment letters were given to 75,000 youth. Whereas, the second mela was held on November 22, 2022 and around 71,000 appointment letters were handed over. Around 71,000 appointment letters were given in the third edition on January 20, 2023 and in the fourth edition on April 13, 2023.
