Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for the Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service (IES/ISS) Exam 2023. A total of 51 posts will be recruited through this recruitment process. The online application process for these posts is on. * Educational Qualification required to apply:

Candidates applying for the IES exam must have a postgraduate degree in economics. On the other hand, the candidates applying for the ISS exam must have a bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematical statistics, or applied statistics as one of the subjects.

* Age limit prescribed for applying:

Through this recruitment process, the age of the candidates applying for these posts should be 21 to 30 years. Reserved category candidates have been given relaxation in the maximum age limit. Age will be counted from 1 August 2023.

* Application Fee for Applicants :

Candidates belonging to general, other backward castes, and economically backward classes applying for these posts through this recruitment process will have to pay a fee of Rs 200. Women and Scheduled Caste, and Scheduled Tribe candidates are exempted from depositing fees.

After the application process for these posts is over, the shortlisted candidates will be called for the written test. The exam will be 1000 marks. In this, successful candidates will be called for an interview. Final selection will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the interview.
