Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, NVS has invited applications for recruitment to the post of TGT, PGT, Principal, and other teachers in Navodaya Vidyalayas across the country. Applications can be made for the posts by visiting the official website of NVS, navodaya.gov.in. Note that the application process started on 2nd July 2022 and will continue till 22nd July.
A total of 1616 posts have been recruited. In which 683 posts of TGT, 397 of PGT, 12 of Principal, and 181 posts of Music, Arts, PET Male, PET Female, and Librarian are included.
Educational qualification
Principal - Post Graduation with 60% marks in aggregate with B.Ed or equivalent qualification. Also 15 years of teaching experience.
PGT – 2 Years Post Graduation Integrated Course in relevant subject with minimum 50% marks or Masters in relevant subject with B.Ed.
TGT - 4-year Integrated Degree Course in relevant subject with at least 50% marks or Bachelor's Honors in relevant subject with 50% marks. Full details related to educational qualifications can be seen in the recruitment notification. The notification link is shared below.
Age Range
According to the notification released for the recruitment, maximum of 50 years for Principal posts, 40 years for PGT, 35 years for TGT, a maximum of 35 years for a Music teacher, 35 for an Art teacher, and 35 for PET and Librarian posts. Candidates up to a maximum of 35 years of age can apply.
Salary
The selected candidates for the principal posts will be given a monthly salary ranging from Rs 78800 to Rs 209200. On the other hand, for TGT posts from Rs 44900 to Rs 142400, for PGT Rs 47600-151100 and for various categories of teacher posts it is Rs. 44900-142400 is fixed at Rs.
NVS Recruitment 2022 Selection Process
Candidates will be selected for the posts through online written tests, interviews (except for librarians), and document verification.
