MBBS admission fraud case: Fake massage to get medical seat in Haryana, Rajasthan and UP

After the release of the results of the NEET exam for admission to MBBS, the counseling process was completed in August. After Karnataka, incidents of rigging in the name of medical admission have come to light from Rajasthan and Haryana. 40 lakhs were defrauded in the name of getting admission for the woman's son.

The entire process of the NEET UG examination to be conducted for admission to top medical colleges has been completed. After the results, the work of counseling and seat allotment has almost been completed. Like every time, this time the game of selling and buying medical seats started after counseling. Many such cases have come to light in Karnataka, Haryana, and Rajasthan where fake messages have been received for admission to medical courses.

Let us tell you that after the release of the result of the NEET exam for admission to MBBS, counseling notification was issued. After the completion of the counseling process, the seat allotment result was released on 26 August. Now incidents of rigging for admission on the remaining seats are coming to light.

The message came for MBBS admission

An incident of rigging in MBBS admission came to light from Mysore in Karnataka. A woman here received fake messages. In this message, the woman was asked to get admission for her son. A woman was defrauded of Rs 10.8 lakh in the name of getting an MBBS seat for her son.

When the woman complained about this incident, four people were arrested. Three of the arrested accused are residents of Bihar, while one is from Jharkhand. 10 mobile phones, 6 computers, and Rs 4.5 lakh in cash were recovered from the accused.

Similar incidents in Rajasthan and Haryana also

According to media reports, two women from Rajasthan and Haryana were allegedly defrauded of more than Rs 40 lakh by three men who had promised them admission to the MBBS course in a West Bengal-based medical college. The women were preparing for the NEET exam and had approached the Sankalp Employment Office in Gurgaon for assistance.

The people demanded a commission of Rs 45.56 lakh and collected a total of Rs 40 lakh from the victims. However, when they reached the college, they came to know that no admissions were taking place. FIR has been registered and an investigation is underway. Let us tell you that such incidents come to light every year from different states in the name of admission to MBBS.
