The controversy surrounding the alleged NEET 2026 Examination paper leak has now intensified after fresh revelations emerged during the investigation by Rajasthan’s Special Operations Group (SOG).
According to sources, investigators are now probing a possible network involving:
- A medical student from Kerala
- A hostel in Sikar
- A printing press in Jaipur
The case gained momentum after a “guess paper” reportedly matched a significant number of actual questions asked in the NEET exam.
How the Controversy Started
Sources claim the investigation began after authorities discovered that a so-called “guess paper” circulating before the exam allegedly contained many questions that later appeared in the actual NEET paper.
The matter became serious when teachers and investigators reportedly found striking similarities between:
- Biology questions in the guess paper
- Chemistry questions in the actual exam
Some questions were allegedly identical, including punctuation and wording.
Kerala MBBS Student Under Investigation
According to preliminary findings, a student studying MBBS in Kerala allegedly sent the guess paper on May 2 to his father’s mobile phone in Sikar.
The student reportedly claimed:
- The paper was received from a friend studying in Sikar
- It should be shared with hostel students before the examination
Sikar Hostel Link Emerges
The student’s father reportedly runs a PG hostel in Sikar.
Sources say:
- He allegedly did not check the paper at night
- The next morning, he distributed it to girls staying at the hostel before the exam
After the examination ended, suspicion reportedly grew when similarities between the guess paper and the actual exam surfaced.
Coaching Teacher Made Major Discovery
The hostel operator later approached a coaching institute teacher and reportedly asked how many questions matched the actual paper.
During the review:
- All 90 Biology questions asked in NEET were allegedly found within a 200-question Biology guess paper
- All 45 Chemistry questions were reportedly found within an 81-question Chemistry guess paper
Investigators are now examining whether this was merely coincidence or part of an organized leak operation.
Jaipur Printing Press Angle Under Investigation
One of the biggest developments in the case is the claim that the alleged guess paper was printed in:
- Jaipur
According to sources:
- The printing press involved is now under investigation
- Authorities are trying to identify who prepared the material
- Investigators are tracing how the paper was distributed to candidates
Rajasthan Special Operations Group (SOG) is reportedly examining the entire distribution chain.
Initial Complaint Was Allegedly Ignored
Reports suggest the hostel operator first approached:
- Industry Nagar Police Station in Sikar
However, he was allegedly told not to spread rumors and was sent back without action.
Later, the information was reportedly forwarded directly to:
- National Testing Agency (NTA)
NTA Alerted Intelligence Agencies
Sources claim:
- National Testing Agency informed the Intelligence Bureau (IB)
- The IB then alerted Rajasthan Police
- After this, the SOG officially began its investigation
Several People Detained for Questioning
According to reports:
- More than a dozen individuals have been detained or questioned so far
- The PG hostel operator is also reportedly being interrogated
Investigators are attempting to determine:
- Whether the guess paper was based on prediction techniques
- Or whether the actual NEET paper was leaked before the examination
SOG Probing Organized Leak Possibility
The biggest question before investigators now is whether:
- The similarities were accidental
- Or whether a larger organized paper leak racket exists
Authorities are examining:
- Printing records
- Phone communication
- Distribution channels
- Digital evidence
to establish whether candidates received advance access to exam content.
NEET Examination Under Fresh Scrutiny
The controversy has once again raised concerns regarding the security and integrity of:
- NEET 2026 Examination
which is one of India’s largest medical entrance examinations.
Every year, lakhs of students appear for the exam seeking admission into:
- MBBS
- BDS
- Medical and allied healthcare courses
Any allegations of question paper leaks therefore attract nationwide attention.
Investigation Continues
As the probe expands, authorities are expected to:
- Identify the printing source
- Verify digital trails
- Analyze candidate connections
- Examine possible financial transactions
The investigation is still ongoing, and officials have not yet issued a final confirmation regarding whether an actual paper leak took place.
