Once again Naxalites have targeted soldiers in Singhbhum, Jharkhand. Two soldiers were injured after coming in contact with IED planted by Naxalites. One of these soldiers has died, while the condition of the other is said to be critical. After the incident, the police has started a combing operation.

A very big Naxalite incident has taken place in West Singhbhum district of Jharkhand. Two soldiers were seriously injured after coming in contact with IED planted by Naxalites in Chaibasa. These soldiers were airlifted to Raj Hospital in Ranchi in a hurry. Where doctors have declared one soldier dead. While the condition of the other soldier is said to be critical. This soldier has been admitted to the Special Care Unit.

According to Jharkhand DGP Chandan Kumar Sinha, the soldier martyred in this incident has been identified as Sunil Dhan of Jharkhand Jaguar. He informed that Vishnu Saini of Cobra Battalion, injured in this incident, has been admitted to the hospital. His condition is still critical and he has been kept under close supervision of doctors. He informed that after this incident, a combing operation has been started in search of Naxalites.

Operation against Naxalites in Jharkhand

According to the DGP, a special campaign has been started to clean up Naxalites in Jharkhand. In this sequence, anti-Naxal operation is being carried out in West Singhbhum district. He informed that under this operation, the security squad was patrolling in the border forest and hilly areas of Chhota Nagra and Jaraikela police station and came under the grip of IED laid by Naxalites.

He informed that after this incident, the security squad has surrounded the entire area and a close combing operation has been started. He informed that a wreath laying ceremony will be organized on Sunday at Jaguar Headquarters Tender Village Ranchi on the martyrdom of Constable Sunil Dhan of Jharkhand Jaguar who was martyred in this incident.
