Names of captains for all three formats of India till 2027 World Cup have come out, these players will take charge

These strong players of Team India can be appointed captains in all three formats till World Cup 2027. These players can be made the next captain of India immediately after the retirement of regular captain Rohit Sharma.
World Cup 2027: The Board of Control for Cricket in India i.e. BCCI has started preparations to win the 2027 ODI World Cup. BCCI can make many big changes in the team after the Champions Trophy 2025, in which there can be a change in the captains of all three formats. Currently, Rohit Sharma is leading the ODI and Test team, but he can say goodbye to both these formats after the Champions Trophy, while he has already retired from the T20I format. After Rohit's retirement, BCCI can make these three players the new captain in all three formats.
Shubman to take command in ODI!
Team India's ODI vice-captain Shubman Gill can be made the captain of Team India till the 2027 World Cup after Rohit Sharma's retirement. This young player's performance in ODIs has been tremendous, while he is also at the forefront in the race for captaincy in ODIs. Head coach Gautam Gambhir and chief selector Ajit Agarkar are also looking at Gill as the next captain, due to which he has been made the vice-captain in ODIs.
Let us tell you that Shubman has previously captained India in 5 T20I matches, out of which four have gone in his favor and one has been lost. At the same time, Gill has also captained the domestic team Punjab. While in the IPL, he also captains Gujarat and his performance has been amazing in captaincy.
Pant will take over the responsibility of Test!
Young wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant has established his place in the Test team. This player has performed brilliantly in the longest format of Test for India. He has led India to victory by performing brilliantly in many important matches. Keeping in mind his consistent performance and ability to captain the team, BCCI can hand him the captaincy of the Test team after Rohit Sharma's retirement.
Pant has captained India in five T20I matches, out of which he has won two and lost two, while one match could not result in a result. At the same time, Pant has captained the Delhi Capitals in the IPL. While this year he will be seen captaining the Lucknow Super Giants. But Pant can prove to be a better captain in the long format. Rishabh Pant is a strong contender to lead the Test team till the 2027 World Cup.
Surya will remain the captain in T20
Suryakumar Yadav was made the captain of this format after captain Rohit Sharma retired from the T20I format. India has not lost a single series under his captaincy. He has led the Indian team in 22 matches in the T20I format, of which India won 17 and lost only 4. After the excellent performance of Surya Kumar Yadav, BCCI can keep him as the captain of Team India's T20I format till the 2027 World Cup.
