Rajasthan News: A mother in Jhunjhunu was expecting a son, but the daughter came home. The daughter was brought home with full respect. But then after 17 days the mother's love died and she threw the daughter in the water tank and put a lid on it. 

Jhunjhunu News: According to Jhunjhunu DSP, this entire incident took place in Ward 53 Nayabas on Sunday. Pankaj Saini has filed a case of murder of his daughter against his wife Nisha. The accused woman has been arrested. According to the police, on Sunday when Pankaj Saini and other family members were in the field, only Nisha and two-year-old Nahira along with Sonia, who was born 17 days ago, were at home.

In the morning, Nisha called her brother-in-law and told him that her daughter Sonia was missing. The family rushed home in a panic and searched for the daughter. When no clue was found, the water tank was opened and Sonia was found in the water as soon as the lid was removed. She was declared dead in the hospital.

Police said that Nisha's father-in-law had locked the main gate of the house from outside while going to work. This proved that no one had entered the house from outside. When Nisha was questioned strictly, she told everything. Even the police were stunned to hear what Nisha said.

Nisha said that she wanted a son but for the second time she had a daughter. She was angry so she killed 17-day-old Sonia by drowning her in a tank. Nisha and Pankaj were married 7 years ago. The whole family is in shock after this incident and Nisha is in police custody.
