In a shocking incident that has left an entire family shattered, a woman from Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, reportedly abandoned her husband and three daughters to elope with her maternal nephew. The woman also allegedly fled with ₹2 lakh worth of jewellery and ₹50,000 in cash, leaving behind a devastated father now struggling to care for his children alone.

Love Affair That Shook a Family

The incident occurred in the Naugaon police station area, where the woman had been staying at her maternal home for the past six months. According to her husband, Manish Ahirwar, it was during this time that she developed an illicit relationship with her nephew, Akash.

Manish said he had recently brought her back to their marital home in Vangaon. But just days later, she disappeared—taking the valuables and cash with her. Left in despair, Manish approached the police with his three young daughters, pleading for help in finding their missing mother.

Missing Complaint Filed, Police Begin Search

The Naugaon police have registered a missing person’s report and have begun investigating the case. SDOP Amit Meshram confirmed that a formal complaint was lodged and that efforts are underway to trace the woman and her alleged lover.

“This betrayal has destroyed my home,” Manish said, holding back tears as he spoke to the media. “My daughters are heartbroken. They keep asking for their mother. I don’t know how to explain to them that she left us.”
