Monsoon entry, heavy rains will occur in these states in May itself; IMD gave a big update

According to the Meteorological Department, this time the monsoon will knock early. Monsoon has reached the southern part of the Bay of Bengal and the Nicobar Islands. It is likely to reach further in three to four days. Monsoon is likely to reach Kerala on 27 May. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be rain in many states of the country in May.
The mood of the weather is changing rapidly. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has released the latest update regarding the monsoon. The southwest monsoon has reached some areas of the south of the Bay of Bengal, south of the Andaman Sea, Nicobar Islands and north of the Andaman Sea on Tuesday i.e. today.
The Meteorological Department further said that moderate to heavy rains occurred in the Nicobar Islands in the last two days. The Meteorological Department further said that in the next three to four days, conditions are favorable for the advance of monsoon in most parts of South Arabian Sea, Maldives and Comorin area, most parts of South Bay of Bengal, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, rest of Andaman Sea and some parts of Central Bay of Bengal.
Wind will blow at high speed
The effect of westerly winds has increased over the south of Bay of Bengal, Nicobar Islands and Andaman Sea. The wind speed at 1/5 kilometer above sea level has exceeded 20 knots and in some areas it has increased to 4.5 kilometers.
What did IMD say?
IMD said that 'Outgoing Longwave Radiation' (OLR) has also decreased in this area, which is an indication of cloud cover. OLR is a measure of the energy emanating from the Earth into space, especially at longer wavelengths (such as infrared). It is emitted from the Earth's surface and atmosphere. The Meteorological Department said that these conditions point to the arrival of monsoon in this region.

Rain in these states
Chhattisgarh may receive sporadic to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds from today till May 15. Madhya Pradesh will receive rain during May 13 to 16. Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on May 14 to 15. Rain is expected in Gangetic plains West Bengal during May 14 and in Jharkhand on May 15 and 16. At the same time, rain is expected in Kerala till May 27.
