A horrific incident has surfaced from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, where a man was brutally beaten to death by his wife and twosons, then his body was disposed of in the Ganges river. The victim, 58-year-old Dinesh Kumar Maurya, was tied to a neem tree in their courtyard in Tara Mohalla, Kerani area, and mercilessly beaten on Wednesday afternoon.

Despite a delayed police response and the family’s attempt to cover up by performing hurried last rites, a viral video showing the assault forced authorities to act. The police recovered Dinesh’s body from Dengurpur Ghat on Thursday evening and arrested his wife Sona Devi and their two sons.

The accused claimed Dinesh was a drug addict who died from a head injury sustained earlier. However, the brutal beating captured on video reveals a far darker truth. A post-mortem examination is underway as the investigation continues.
