The Ahmedabad Crime Branch has arrested three people for making and uploading videos of women bathing at the Prayagraj Mahakumbh and selling them on YouTube. During the investigation, objectionable footage of women has been recovered from the accused.
Names of the accused and the case
The arrested have been identified as Chandraprakash Phoolchand, Prajwal Ashok Teli and Praj Rajendra Patil. According to the police, these accused recorded videos of women bathing during the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj and made financial gains by selling them online.

After videos of women bathing during the Mahakumbh went viral on social media and reports of sale on platforms like Telegram surfaced, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav criticized the Uttar Pradesh government. After this, the police intensified the action and arrested the accused.
