Maha Kumbh Stampede: Is anyone upset with the grandeur and divinity of Maha Kumbh? What happened at midnight in Maha Kumbh that there was a stampede among the devotees? Zee News first reported that the stampede was caused by a rumour. After which saints and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also confirmed this news. In such a situation, the question is whether the opponents of Sanatan conspired to create disturbance on the day of Mahasnan in Maha Kumbh? Was the stampede caused in Maha Kumbh due to a rumour? Does anyone want to defame Maha Kumbh?
'Some people will have problems with a grand, peaceful event'
Although the answers to these questions are not directly available, but while talking to Zee News, former DGP of Uttar Pradesh AK Jain said, 'It could be a conspiracy, it could also be that someone has spread the rumour that one should bathe at this time, not at this time and after this time, bathing will not be allowed. This is currently a matter of investigation.' Jain further said, 'It could be that someone is upset with such a big, successful and peaceful event that many people are upset with.'
Some people will be dissatisfied...
Talking to Zee News, Akhada Parishad President Ravindra Puri said that anti-Sanatan people are upset and they are spreading rumours. Apart from this, Devkinandan Thakur also called it a conspiracy. Along with this, religious leader Anand Maharaj Swaroop said that definitely some people do not like that the event becomes successful. The credit for the event should go to the government. Because there is such a big arrangement, some people will be satisfied and some people will be dissatisfied. He said that all this is politics. This should not happen.
CM Yogi also said 'negative rumours '
Earlier, while talking to the media, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that people should stay away from rumours, if anyone tries to spread negative rumours, it can cause harm. He said that the situation is under control but there is definitely pressure, so do not believe any negativity. He said that between 1 and 2 o'clock in the night, some devotees were seriously injured while crossing the barricades that were put up for the purpose of Amrit Snan on the Akhara Marg. They were immediately taken to the hospital and arrangements were made for their treatment. Some of those devotees are seriously injured.
Take a bath wherever you are: CM Yogi
While appealing to the devotees, he said, 'I will appeal to the people to follow the instructions of the administration and not pay attention to rumours. I will tell everyone to take bath at whichever ghat they are. Bathing at Sangam Nose is not necessary, all devotees should avoid going there. Our priority is to ensure safe bathing. There is a huge crowd pressure in Prayagraj, so first the devotees will take bath and only then the saints will take bath.
