A horrifying murder case has emerged from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, where a 16-year-old girl, along with her 17-year-old boyfriend, brutally killed her own mother, Usha Singh, after she opposed their relationship.

The incident occurred late Saturday night. Initially, the daughter claimed that her mother had been murdered during a robbery. However, police investigations soon unraveled a chilling conspiracy.

According to police, the teenage couple first strangled the woman with a dupatta, then slit her throat with a piece of broken glass. In a further disturbing twist, the girl removed her mother’s clothes and scattered household items to make it appear as though the murder happened during a robbery and sexual assault. She then called out for help and informed relatives and neighbors, pretending to be shocked by the "crime."

Police suspicions were raised due to inconsistencies in the girl's statements. On further interrogation, she confessed to the murder, revealing that her mother disapproved of her relationship with the boy—who belongs to another community—and had even filed a case last year after the two ran away together.

The boy had been sent to a juvenile home at the time but resumed contact with the girl after his release. Allegedly, he incited her to take revenge on her mother for separating them.
