Many types of problems can occur due to stress, it is common to complain of hypothyroidism. The thyroid is a small gland located in the neck that produces many essential hormones. These hormones are essential for metabolism, body temperature, and growth. But increasing or decreasing thyroid levels can cause damage to the body. The weight of the victim may be less or more due to the thyroid.

Thyroid complaints can happen to a person of any age. The problem of the thyroid is increasing rapidly globally. World Thyroid Day is celebrated every year on 25 May to make people aware of thyroid and tell about the methods of prevention. Certain yoga postures help balance thyroid levels. In such a situation, some yoga asanas should be practiced regularly to control thyroid levels and reduce health problems.

Setubandhasana is effective in thyroid
The practice of bridge pose i.e. Setubandhasana has many benefits. This makes the back and spine strong and the symptoms of thyroid can be reduced.

For the practice of Setubandhasana, lying on the back, keep the feet at a distance of the width of the shoulders and bend the knees. Keeping the hands on the ground while opening the palms, take a breath and lift the part of the waist upwards. Now while exhaling, come back to the old position.

Does cobra pose when you have a thyroid?
This asana helps in stimulating the throat and thyroid. To practice the Cobra pose, lie on the ground with your palms on the floor shoulder-width apart. While inhaling, lift the chest off the floor and look towards the ceiling. Take the body back to the floor and repeat the yoga.

Cat-cow pose
To control thyroid problems, practice Cat-Cow pose. This posture is beneficial in continuing the flow of blood in the throat. To do this asana, bend the wrists and knees and make an animal-like posture. Take a deep breath and release. Do this exercise daily for 10 minutes.
