The water demand is increasing due to the rapid population growth, urbanization, and increasing need for water in many sectors including agriculture, industry, and energy. However climate change, changing rainfall patterns, and weather-related events are further increasing water scarcity. In such a situation, the purpose of celebrating World Water Day is to understand the seriousness of these problems and make efforts to solve them.
