World Kidney Day 2023: 'World Kidney Day' is celebrated every year on 9 March. The purpose of this day is to make people aware of kidney-related diseases and problems and to reduce the spread of this disease. To maintain kidney health, it is often said that one should drink more and more water so that toxins can help in getting out of the body and the kidney remains healthy. Many people consider it good to drink more water. Some people are seen consuming more water than required. But is it right to drink more water?

This occurs when excess water accumulates in body cells (including brain cells), due to which they swell. When brain cells swell, the pressure on the brain increases. Because of this, you may experience symptoms like confusion, headache and drowsiness.

Depending on these factors, a person should drink 2 to 3 litres of water daily.
