Usually, you and I make UPI payments on a personal level. Someone else can use someone's credit card with his permission, but this is not the case with UPI, now it is going to happen. Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has suggested Delegated Payments, after which anyone else can spend money and make payments from your UPI account.
What are UPI Delegated Payments?
This is a new facility under which someone else will be able to manage someone else's UPI account. It is just like you have given access to your social media account to someone else. In very simple words, you will have the master access of your UPI account and you will be able to give access to the account to anyone else for payment.
This means that two people will be able to use one bank account. If you want, you can give access to any member of the family or anyone you want, although it has not been implemented yet and detailed information has not been given either.
Let us tell you that apart from India, UPI payment is being used in many countries of the world today. Nepal is also included in this list. Recently, the figure of UPI merchant payments in Nepal has crossed 1,00,000. UPI is being used a lot from cities to villages. The big reason for this is that people are getting information about their transactions and balance in real-time.
