Free Bus Travel Scheme
The Delhi government started a great scheme for women in the year 2019. Under this women in Delhi have benefited a lot. Delhi government is running a free bus travel scheme for women. No woman needs to buy a ticket to travel on any DTC bus. And in this scheme, not only women of Delhi but any woman from any state who travels in DTC buses in Delhi will also get the benefit of free travel scheme.
Ladli Yojana
Delhi government started the Ladli Yojana for daughters in the year 2008. Under this scheme, the government gives financial assistance to daughters. The government deposits money in the account of daughters under the scheme. The government deposits a total of 35 thousand rupees in the account of daughters under this scheme. Which is useful to them in their time of need. On the birth of a daughter, the government deposits 11 thousand rupees in the account.
After this, on taking admission in the first class, 5,000 rupees are sent to the account, while on taking admission in the 6th, 9th, 10th, and 12th class, 5,000 rupees are sent to the account. On the other hand, if the daughter is not born in a hospital, i.e. if the daughter is born at home, then Rs. 10,000 is sent to the account. When the daughter turns 18, by then Rs. 35,000 will be deposited in her account.
